MagniLink iTAB

MagniLink iTAB is designed for and connects directly to Apple's iPad models via the USB-C connector. The angled stand for the iPad makes use ergonomic and an additional connector enables charging of the iPad while the system is in use. MagniLink iTAB can be delivered with a reading/and distance camera with fantastic image quality,  but you can also choose an iTAB without a camera and instead connect a MagniLink reading camera * (e.g. MagniLink S) if you already have one.  Together with the iPad, which is not included but purchased separately, MagniLink iTAB becomes a versatile vision aid.

The flexible format is ideal for those who want to be able to use their system in different places, such as at home and at work, but perhaps especially at school. It is great to share the image on the screen so that you can simultaneously read from a book or other printed text using the iPad's camera - and take advantage of the information on a whiteboard in the classroom with the iTab's distance camera. It is also possible to share the image with other applications on the iPad.

The heart of the system is MagniLink Viewer, our proprietary software, which can be easily downloaded from the App Store. Once the software is downloaded and installed on your iPad, the system is very easy and educational to use.  The software offers different viewing modes that provide increased reading speed, reading endurance and a more relaxed reading. You can also access both digital and printed documents. OCR functionality is always included, which makes it possible to have both printed and digital text read aloud. This is a much-appreciated feature for those who find reading tiring. MagniLink Viewer supports the iPad's touchscreen and it is possible to control the system perfectly with your fingers on the screen, but also with the help of shortcut commands via a Bluetooth keyboard.

Together with the iPad's own apps, you get a very complete and competent system with lots of uses.
